Washington Township's Williamsburg on the River is getting an addition after a decade without major developments. Danberry and Preserve Properties, LLC are developing 32 lots across 43.82 acres with home construction in the first plat beginning this fall. The expanded portion of the subdivision is named the Reserve at Williamsburg with lots ranging from 0.75 acres to 1.85 acres. Lots are priced between $95,000 and $135,000. Home prices are expected to be between $500,000 to $700,000.
Limiting environmental impact was of the utmost importance and special care was taken to implement a highly effective, natural stormwater management system that ensures minimal stress on the neighborhood's lakes. Additionally, the Reserve at Williamsburg will have a very meaningful impact on the surrounding area. Investing in the development will add up to $20 million in real estate once construction is complete. Buyers can bring their own builder and the project will create a substantial amount of local jobs.
"we're providing new, fully serviced lots in an area that is scarce of new lots."
-wade smith, director of development services at danberry
We already have several available lots listed in the Reserve at Williamsburg and those account for half of all active land listings in Otsego School District. There hasn't been a new construction listed in the district in over a year.
The Reserve at Williamsburg is located at Ohio 235 and Ohio 65 where they intersect at the Maumee River. The area was chosen for its park-like setting, proximity to the river, and to increase the availability of high-end new construction in Otsego schools. The serene, rural subdivision will utilize the area's natural features and maintain a consistent design with the existing neighborhood.
